I think the podcast- so far- is working really well. I understand that the main focus has been on those making music, but I am working on getting more guests to talk about things that interest them as well as maybe their philosophies on life as well. It’s been a little difficult to get those people in here though and I really feel that people have some sort of fear about talking for a long period of time.
It’s natural to feel that way. I have been this way for a long time and though it may or may not show on my podcast, I have trouble breaking the ice with some people. I definitely feel like I’m progressing, but generally, I feel odd when I have to converse with a person I don’t know too well.
So for those that are afraid to be on my podcast, I have to assure you that it’s ok and that before you come in and talk with me I’ll do my homework and have some topics I want to cover. It may feel funny, but I want it remembered that I wouldn’t have you on unless I felt that you had something worthwhile to say. I’m looking past the bashfulness and I’m confident that a good conversation can be had. I want people to see my friends and family the way I know them and I’m willing to do what it takes to achieve this.
