I'll admit that. One of the things that I enjoy doing most on the internet- aside from compulsively buying crap- is blogging and it's ironic that I've left the podcast blog alone.
A few of you may remember that I used to have a blog called "Our Morning Wood". Originally, that blog was supposed to be something that both my brother and I could call our own. After a while, he lost interest and I was the sole writer for the blog. I put a lot of work into "OMW", but I strayed away from the format after I ported it over to another blogging platform, and it was at this point that the blog became shit. I still post random things to it, but nothing close to the posts that the original Morning Wood held*.
I want to go back to that. I feel that it's pointless for me to have a blog for the podcast if I don't write for it. Many of the things that are said in the podcast may show up in the blog in more elaborate posts, whether it be about comics, movies, music and events. The blog might even have a picture or two of a burger that I thought was tasty.
On top of that, I want to add a visual element to the podcast. The promo vid was a great piece that- while it didn't explain the podcast- was a pretty cool, stand-alone project. I want to bring more of that to the blog, as well.
So keep checking out the blog for The Danger Tapes, as I will attempt to be on a posting frenzy from now on.
